July Member’s Meeting at Eurana Park in Weatherly, PA. It has been very difficult for your BOD to find outdoor venues to meet because of the current situation with COVID-19. Eurana Park is a tranquil spot in Weatherly with a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and even disc golf course. There is a lake for swimming (closed), indoor pavilion, band shell, and 2 huge open-air covered pavilions that have 18 large picnic tables each, which is perfect for social distancing rain or shine at our meeting. There is also a snack bar which serves food, and ICE CREAM for dessert..
There is a paved parking lot for parking with a short walk to the covered pavilion where we will conduct our meeting. Rest rooms are available.
And a word of caution, as a former Safety Chair I’ll suggest observing speed limits, especially since I have been told that there are a few speed traps in and around Weatherly.
Please remember to fill out and bring your Communicable Disease Waiver form . We will need to wear masks and social distance during the event, except when eating. We must comply with the PA and PCA guidance. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you have suggestions for future outdoor meeting locations please send then to John Emmett (Fam4Emmett@Aol.com) or Margie Becker at (email@example.com). Please help us keep events going.
