Slot Car Racing, Tech Quiz, & Music

Saturday Morning

 Friday the festivities begin with a golf tournament (best ball).  Starting at 1:00 pm we will be hitting the links on one of the prestigious golf courses in the area.  Everyone is welcome and you don’t have to be a pro for this tournament.

 Friday at 6:00 pm the authentic Oktoberfest kicks off with our Welcome Party!  Our President, Chef Andrew Moore along with the Chef at The INN at Pocono Manor has come up with a German Bar-B-Q that will entice everyone’s palate.  The bar will be stocked with German beverages for your purchase.  We will also have strolling musicians playing on the lawn as well as in the reception area.  After everyone is full, the RC Racing and/or Slot Car Racing Tournament will begin.  Cars will be provided.  As soon as the Tournament is over everyone is invited to the theatre room where you can test your Porsche knowledge by participating in the Tech Quiz.  You can end the night up at the Lamplighter Lounge or you can go to bed for the big day on Saturday!

Saturday morning we will be meeting to have breakfast at The INN and then we will be making our way down to Stroudsburg’s main street for an event called Autos in Autumn.  Many different car clubs will be displaying their cars, BUT we will be getting prime area for our People’s Choice Car Show.  This will be a new and exciting way we will be doing our car show!  So start shining those cars up!

 Saturday afternoon starting at 1:00 pm begins our Road Rally throughout the Pocono Mountains.  Be prepared for ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING!

 Saturday evening at 6:00 pm, we will meet at the Lamplighter Lounge for a Social Hour.  There will be hors d’oeuvres for your enjoyment. 

Saturday at 7:00 pm, our Bavarian themed dinner buffet will take place.  Once again, the Chefs have come up with an authentic Bavarian menu that will make your mouth water.  After dinner our awards will be given out for the Golf Tournament, Road Rally, People’s Choice Car Show, RC/Slot Car Tournament, and Tech Quiz.  Be prepared for other surprises and prizes to be given out throughout the night too!

 After the evening has concluded, you may retreat back to the Lamplighter Lounge where The INN at Pocono Manor will be providing a live band for all to enjoy.

 On Sunday we will be seeing who would like to do a drive/lunch or you can enjoy the Pocono Mountains.  There are many things to do and we are literally 5 minutes away from Mt. Airy Casino and The Crossings Premium Outlets.  So why don’t you join us on Columbus Day weekend for Oktoberfest XI.
