Presidents Nachricht

It has been a long time coming, but here it is – I am finally logged in and unleashed on our membership to write about all things Porsche, whether it be the cars themselves, the events participated in driving Porsche cars, or just the lifestyle afforded to us as owners of the best sports car marque in the world. Each month I will reach out to you, our esteemed member, with new goings on. I will touch on topics that I personally know about and sometimes raise questions for you the reader to engage upon. I only ask that you forward any questions or comments  you have to me directly via my email address (lbgllc06@yahoo.com) so that I may respond directly to you. It is my hope that this form of communication helps us as a club become that much more engaged, that we continue to work on and present events that are interesting for our members. What do we like most? Garagemahaul this year was for all intent and purpose a huge hit, with our last of the season coming tomorrow, November 11th. I will be seeking for members to step up with new garages for us to visit in 2018. I will be looking to put together more Porsche’s and Painting events, Drive and Dines, Ice Cream runs, and some bigger events – overnight trips to interesting destinations, concours events, Rally Events, Tours, and a Fund Raiser as well. Yes, that is A LOT of work, but I know that there are some very talented club members in our fold, that, given the opportunity, will shine like the diamonds I know they can be. I also have a big surprise for the members that come to our Members Meeting this Tuesday evening at The Powerhouse Eatery – and no, I can’t give you any hints, other than I have already shared it with John and Rose Ann Novotnak for some critical feedback, which I am pleased to report they gave! Also, ELECTIONS are Tuesday night as well, so please – have your voice heard and be present to vote! Now to go and fix my lawnmower! Happens every year – does this happen to you too? If so, what mower do you have and whats  the biggest issue you have? I’ll start, I have a Cub Cadet 50″ deck mower so,it’s either my serpentine belt, or my starter solenoid – this time its the solenoid. Time to shut down the sound system and get to work – be safe, be happy…
